Hi, I'm Claire.

Activities And Sites Seeing In Provence

Our Tips

Most brides and grooms to be and their guests getting married in Provence will stay there for a a few days. This region is one of the most beautiful of the world and is full of discoveries.

There are plenty of activities to do in Provence, whether it’s with your family, your friends or  your other half .

This is a non exhaustive list of my favorite activities and site seeing, and there is something for everyone.

Of course the Claire Yossman Weddings team will be happy to help you organize these visits and activities, so you don’t have to do anything but enjoying yourself.

For sea lovers

Provence is often known for its lavender fields, small hills and cicadas. But this region also extends to the French Riviera.

For those who want to live the Dolce Vita à la française, I advise you to visit the cities and villages on the Coast such as: Saint-Tropez, Port Grimaud, Nice, Ville Franche sur Mer and many others.

And for those who want to enjoy the sea, I would advise you to rent a catamaran and go for a tour in the various beautiful creeks of the coast. You can also plan a lunch or a dinner.

I would also advise you to go to Grasse on the French Riviera, the city where the perfumes of the greatest houses, such as Guerlain, are made.

For an immersion in the typical Provence

If you want to visit the typical Provence as you’ve always pictured it, you will have to make the tour of the Provencal cities and villages such as Aix en Provence, Arles, L’Isle sur la Sorgue, or Avignon, and stroll through their Provencal markets.

Of course there is a mandatory stop by the lavender fields (from June to July) or by the olive tree fields. We can also organize photo shoots there.

For wine and olive oil lovers

If you are passionate about wine you know that Provence is crossed by the wine road. All along this road you will find wineries and chateaux where you can have a wine and olive oil tasting

To name a few: Chateau d’Estoublon, the Chateau de la Gaude, and Chateau Lacoste.

For the more adventurous

One of the figures of Provence is Paul Cezanne, a famous artist of the XXth century. This painter had as a Muse the Sainte Victoire Mountain, located not far from Aix en Provence.

From the top of this mountain you will have a breathtaking view of the surrounding towns and villages. For those who love hiking, this is a step not to be missed during your stay in Provence.

Do not hesitate to contact us if you want us to help you organizing your stay in Provence.
