For the last wedding of the season, Julia and Sami, came all the way from Canada to celebrate their love with their friends, at La Bastide de Gordes, in Provence. 
La Bastide de Gordes is a beautiful and luxurious hotel located in the heart of Provence in the oh so authentic village of Gordes. 
Another exceptional place in which the Claire Yossman Weddings team enjoyed organizing this wonderful wedding. 
Rain invited itself to the celebration so we had to go to plan B, have everything indoors, except the ceremony. But it didn’t ruin the day as you can see in the beautiful pictures captured by Maya Maréchal.

The Day of the Wedding

The Cocktail

Due to the rain, the wedding plans had to be adjusted. The cocktail party, initially planned after the ceremony, took place first indoors while waiting for the rain to subside. The cocktail venue offered a breathtaking view of the Luberon.

The Ceremony

Once the rain let up, the ceremony was held outdoors in the gardens of Bastide de Gordes. A stunning flower arch, designed by the Blonde and the Bearded One, adorned the ceremony area in soft pastel orange and yellow colors, complementing the hotel’s facade. Despite the light rain, the guests had umbrellas, and the bride and groom walked down the aisle accompanied by the Botticcelis musicians. The ceremony was filled with emotion and will be cherished in everyone’s memories.

After the ceremony, we invited the guests and the bride and groom to return to the cocktail party. 

The Dinner

Due to the rain, the dinner had to be moved indoors to a beautiful adjacent room. The table arrangements were adjusted accordingly. The room was decorated with the same colors as the ceremony, creating a vibrant atmosphere.

During the dinner, the Swing Vandals band provided lively entertainment, followed by Wildfire DJ, who kept everyone dancing throughout the night.

La Bastide de Gordes, part of the Les Airelles group, is a five-star hotel located in the charming village of Gordes. This historic building from the 18th century has been carefully renovated while preserving its authentic charm and grandeur. Perched atop a rocky hill, the hotel offers stunning views of the surrounding villages, olive trees, Provencal forest, and the Luberon massif.

How many guest can it accommodate?

The hotel has four houses with a total of 40 rooms and suites, combining authenticity, luxury, and refinement. It can accommodate up to 180 people for outdoor events and 120 people indoors.
